Environmental Services Aide - Environmental Services - Per Diem

Position Summary : This position carries the responsibility for the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and the appearance of the hospital.

Education, License & Cert : This position has a minimum requirement of grammar school. This position requires the ability to follow written and oral instruction.

Experience : On the job training is provided for this position.

Essential Functions :

• Maintains cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the hospital facility by following department policies and procedures utilizing the proper chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Maybe responsible for transporting hazardous, regulated, and non‐regulated waste to designated areas.
• Movement of light equipment and furniture.
• Collection and delivery of soiled and clean linen.
• Assists in the orientation of new employees.
• Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports.
• Provides excellent customer service to all contacts.

Other Duties :

Pay rate ranges from $17.00 - $23.61 per hour.
