Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration verification and maintenance of precision measurement equipment and gauges.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology instruments (e.g. CMM optical comparators calipers micrometers).
• Interpret engineering blueprints GD&T specifications and quality standards to ensure accurate measurement and inspection.
• Document inspection results calibration data and non-conformances accurately and thoroughly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement equipment functionality and measurement discrepancies.
• Develop and update metrology procedures work instructions and calibration schedules.
• Support production and engineering teams by providing measurement expertise and root cause analysis for quality issues.
