Software and Database Specialist

Raytheon is seeking a motivated Software and Database Specialist to fill key Maintenance and Engineering support role at Raytheon Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department, located in Andover Massachusetts.

The Software and Database Specialist candidate must be able to effectively operate in a high tempo operations environment often with numerous revolving priorities. Must be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing complex activities.

What You Will Do

  • The candidate shall work with minimal supervision while maintaining test equipment databases.
  • Maintain and develop visual metric dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Support MTEM customers on the manufacturing floor to maintain accurate records of test equipment within the IndySoft app.
  • Support department floor and calibration supervisors requesting help with generating reports.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
  • Experience with developing on the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power BI development.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Mechanical / Electronic Test Equipment.
  • Able to balance multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Works well within team environment.

  • The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
