We have an academic client that is embarking on a significant expansion of their Hematology-Oncology Department, creating incredible opportunities for visionary clinician-researchers-educators and program leaders.
They are currently seeking a highly qualified medical oncologist to serve as the Program Leader of Gastrointestinal (GI) Malignancies within the Section of Hematology / Oncology. The successful candidate will join their efforts to expand the GI malignancies program ensuring excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Ideally the candidate should have a demonstrated interest in clinical trial development, translational research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
In this role you would oversee the development of a clinical program involving research initiatives and education, provide exceptional patient care in GI malignancies, and develop and lead investigator-initiated and collaborative clinical trials supported by their Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office, working closely with laboratory scientists to advance translational research. It also provides an opportunity to train and mentor fellows, residents, and medical / graduate students.
We are also actively recruiting for two GI research physicians who would enjoy the focus on research to add to the department under the Program Leader.
