What You'll Do : Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the premises. Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and / or local authorities as necessary. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Follow all instructions and procedures as outlined in the post orders specific to the government environment. Minimum Requirements : At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
