Physician (Internal Medicine / Family Medicine) - Memphis, TN

Shift Details : Days (On Call hours one Saturday a month)

Job Description :

We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician who works to achieve the organizational goals through the delivery of healthcare services at a patient-centered medical home.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Examine patients, study their medical records and provide diagnosis.
  • Inform patients about complementary health activities and treatments (appropriate diet and exercise).
  • Collaborate with the community of providers in order to oversee all the clinical health of the patients in a cohesive manner.
  • Oversee and supervise Nurse Practitioners and / or Physician Assistants.
  • Physicians are expected to see 3 - 4 patients / hr

Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine.
  • Valid, Current and Unrestricted State TN license and DEA license.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
