Opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physician in Amarillo, TXNearest Major Metro : Lubbock, TX (Approximately 120 miles)Full Time Permanent PositionSeeking BC / BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join team in Amarillo. - Facility provides 50 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APC coverage daily within this level III trauma center. - We are averaging an annual volume of 54,000 per year that encompasses 49 ED beds with a 31% admission rate; while dealing with high acuity. - Physicians have access to the most advanced laboratory in the region with a state-of-the-art ED and hospital facilities. - There is extensive specialty backup in place, which includes most pediatric specialties as well as scribes at no cost to the physicians. - Presently, ED staff does not handle floor codes, and are using EPIC as the EMR.Position Highlights : - 1099 clinical contract for a physician hourly.- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage included.- Scribes.About The Area : Amarillo, TX, situated in the Texas Panhandle, offers a unique blend of western heritage and modern amenities.
