What’s the job?

As a Billing Associate at Trucker Path Insurance, you’ll play a key role in keeping our agency’s billing and commission processes accurate, timely, and well-documented. You’ll work directly within agency systems and partner platforms to process payments, reconcile reports, and ensure smooth communication across teams. This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to learn in a fast-moving environment.

  • Process and review payments for both agency and direct bill policies using agency and partner systems (e.g., Applied Epic, financing platforms, lead partner tools)
  • Review reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure all transactions are accurate
  • Update policy records in the AMS based on payment activity and ensure accurate documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between our agency and the corporate finance team for commission and billing questions
  • Collaborate with partners to resolve billing discrepancies and support account reconciliation
  • Maintain account accuracy and completeness, ensuring billing records are clean, clear, and audit-ready

What’s the work location?

You’ll be based out of our stunning, light-filled headquarters in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. During onboarding and training, you’ll work in-office five days a week to build momentum, meet your teammates, and ramp up with hands-on support. Once key KPIs and performance metrics are met, you’ll transition to a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week—giving you the flexibility to balance focused work and in-person collaboration.

What's the earning potential ($$$)?

First-year earnings? This role offers a competitive base salary starting at $50,000, with opportunities for growth based on performance.

Requirements :

What are we looking for?

  • 4 -6 years experience in a retail insurance agency setting (bonus if it’s trucking-specific!)
  • Familiarity with insurance industry operations and billing workflows
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar AMS systems is a big plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and tools
