Urgent Team is seeking compassionate and skilled Radiology / X-Ray Technologists or Medical Assistants / X-Ray Techs to become a vital part of our healthcare team. Our conveniently located walk-in centers offer a wide range of services to treat injuries and illnesses, as well as provide occupational health and wellness care. We are open seven days a week to serve our community.

Position Overview :

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing x-ray tests, understanding body mechanics, and facilitating patient movement while utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop images, and prepare examination rooms with the needed supplies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet patients promptly when they enter waiting and examination areas.
• Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and next steps in their treatment.
• Address patient concerns and seek appropriate help in urgent situations.
• Conduct follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check in / out procedures as needed.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, weight, and medical history.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Complete necessary documentation related to patient visits.
• Perform radiology procedures timely for evaluation by attending physicians.
• Ensure quality control in radiology procedures to achieve accurate results.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety protocols including radiation protection.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptly.
• Pursue continued education to enhance diagnostic imaging skills.
• Ensure current licensure and certification for the use of radiology equipment.
