Skilled Nursing Care Involves :

Wound care and dressing changes

Ventilator care

G-Tube feeding

Catheter insertion

IV medication administration

Injections and pain management

Home care duties such as personal care, companionship, and errand running

Assist with daily activities of living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, range of motion exercises, aiding ambulation with mobility devices, incontinence care, toileting, vital sign checks, housekeeping, meal preparation, and essential paperwork / charting.

Employment Requirements :

Current LPN or RN license from the State of Hawaii

Current Adult CPR certification (Child CPR for those caring for children)

Current First Aid certification

Up-to-date TB clearance and evidence of a TB 2-step test at some point

Criminal background check will be conducted

Upon hire, you will need to present two valid forms of identification to satisfy I-9 requirements.

If you are open to beginning your career at a lower level, applications for Nurse Aide positions are also welcome.

Please Note : Compensation is determined by the role you accept. Working as a Nurse Aide will be compensated at the Nurse Aide rate, whereas Skilled Nursing positions offer higher rates of pay.
