Primary Function : The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Perform in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings. Identify and report non-conformities or defects to the appropriate departments. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus. Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for inspecting small parts or components. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS). Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
