The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and patient care skills
• Aptitude toward the team philosophy
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Sterile procedure
• Provides correct patient identification technique education instruction and transportation as necessary
• Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures
• Operates all imaging and Doppler / duplex equipment with proper technique
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies
• Education : Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
• License Required : Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)
