Job Title : Inspector - Fabrication / Assembly I4

Location : Wichita KS

Duration : 6 months Contract

Pay Rate Range : $44 Hourly

Description :

Level B1. Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals and specifications shop mathematics precision measuring instruments specialized inspection machines tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.2. Experience working with Quality Management System Policies andProcedures3. Working knowledge of Company Policies Procedures and Specifications4. Overall working knowledge of production processes5. Contact other company organizations or customer representatives as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.6. Good communication skills written and verbal7. Good computing skills8. Operate testing machines calculate and record results9. Maintain certifications as required10. Plan own sequence of operations11. Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes / parts / assemblies12. Verify that tools are qualified13. Prepare and maintain Quality records14. Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes asrequired15. Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly Composite Metals Process and Systems / Payload Structures Mechanic classifications

ATTENTION SUPPLIERS : THIS IS AN URGENT HIRE FOR 30 INSPECTORS. THEY NEED TO ALL START BY 11 / 17 / 25. THE GOAL IS TO HIRE 15 FOR 11 / 10 AND 15 FOR 11 / 17 / 25. WE ARE ALLOWED TO START WITH CONTINGENCY FOR THIS GROUP. ONCE WE FILL THIS REQUISITION I WILL RE-OPEN OUR BACK-FILL REQ AND CONTINUE TO HIRE LIKE WE HAVE BEEN. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CANDIDATES ARE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THESE DATES AS I WILL NOT BE ACCOMODATING START DATE CHANGE REQUESTS. PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THEY HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AS WELL. Overall working knowledge of production processes

Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes / parts / assemblies

Verify that tools are qualified

Prepare and maintain Quality records

Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required

Qualifications Required :

Prompt and on time daily

Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment

Must be available to work any shift- 1

and 3

shift operations

Available for periods of heavy overtime

5 years experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection

Blueprint reading experience

MS Office and SAP experience

Experience writing NCRs (Tags)

Preferred : SAP experience
