As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed, while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and / or criminal activity at the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency personnel during incidents, providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and promptly address any security-related concerns or breaches in accordance with site procedures.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws while performing patrol duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
