Home Equity Processor
The Home Equity Processor-Bilingual plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional and unexpected member experience through the precise and timely processing of Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) loans. To achieve this goal, the employee must provide outstanding service to both internal and external members while answering calls and assisting members with mortgage related products. The Home Equity Processor- Bilingual plays a critical role in facilitating fast, accurate, and compliant loan processing. This individual verifies borrower income to support underwriting decisions, promptly orders services like appraisals and title work, and efficiently manages supporting documents by identifying and resolving any discrepancies. Working closely with third-party providers such as title companies and insurance firms, the processor ensures all required documentation is received quickly and reliably. They carefully review incoming documents for completeness and regulatory compliance, maintain up-to-date and accurate information within the loan system, and run and validate HMDA data for proper federal reporting. Additionally, the processor may assist in broader loan processing functions to accelerate turnaround times. Above all, they ensure that all loan files meet standards for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance before moving to closing. Success in this role depends on maintaining a strong balance between speed and precision, thriving in fast-paced environments while upholding the highest standards of care. The Home Equity Processor- Bilingual may also perform other duties with the department as necessary.

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position :
Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of experience in loan processing or funding analysis.
Experience : Minimum 1-2 years or more of similar or related experience.
