East Texas Children's Therapy Services in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation clinic providing developmental, habilitation and rehabilitation services for children and their families, birth to 21 years of age in East Texas utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. We have been serving patients and families for the past 22 years in our family owned and focused private practice.

Role Description

This is a full-time or part time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Tyler, TX. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' quality of life and support their ability to perform daily activities. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient conditions, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and other medical professionals. The role focuses on pediatric care to ensure the developmental and functional growth of children.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practices
• Foundational knowledge of Medicine and its application in therapy
• Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Experience and expertise working with Pediatrics
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to varying patient needs
