What You'll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and / or client representatives.

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property, including exterior and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the government location to help to deter potential threats or suspicious behavior.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.

Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency responders as required during incidents on site.

Maintain a visible and professional presence while on duty, adhering to Allied Universal standards and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements :

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
