POSITION : Food Service Helper

STARTING SALARY : $17.75 - $19.00 per hour

LOCATION : Various School Locations

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

• Upon arrival, reports to Manager or Pre-Pack Leader for assignment of duties;
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food;
• Assist in the use of kitchen equipment used in the preparation of food;
• Assist food handling, including proper storage of food;

Cleans all aspects of the kitchen, etc.

Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(B) An equivalent combination of training and experience that indicates ability to perform required duties under the typical work activities listed above.

APPOINTMENT : Appointments are subject to the review of the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the approval of the City of Buffalo Civil Service Division. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
