• Shift Schedule : 9-10 hr shifts - Weekdays : 6a-3p, 12p-9p, 4p-1a, 9p-6a - Weekend : 6a-4p, 12p-10p, 8a-6a
• Patient Demographics : Adults
• Patients per day : 80; 1.8 per hour per Physician
• Support Staff : APPs, Full ED support with Nursing and Tech, Full Radiology, Full Lab
• Procedures : - Suturing minor lacerations - Incision and Drainage - Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems - Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w / o pulmonary consultation - Evaluation & management of acute volume / BP issues - Central Line, Arterial Line - Arthrocentesis, Paracentesis - Lumbar Puncture - EKG Interpretation
