Data Modeler

About your role :

The Cyber Data Management team at Fiserv designs and maintains the data architecture that enables effective detection investigation and protection across security telemetry and cyber analytics. You will partner with cybersecurity analysts and data scientists to build scalable data models and pipelines that improve visibility reduce risk and support incident response and threat intelligence. The role focuses on turning security data into reliable governed assets for enterprise risk reduction.

What youll do :

• Design implement and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models to support cybersecurity telemetry threat analytics and incident response use cases.
• Translate business and security requirements into scalable data architecture metadata standards and model-driven ingestion patterns.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity data engineering and cloud teams to ensure secure reliable data transmission storage and querying.
• Implement data quality lineage and governance practices to improve trust and usability of security datasets.
• Evaluate and refactor existing schemas and pipelines to optimize performance reduce risk exposure and lower operational cost.
• Integrate security requirements into data models including data classification masking and access controls.
• Mentor engineers and analysts on modeling best practices and support definition of reusable patterns for security data.
