Unity Software Developer

CACI is seeking an experienced and collaborative mid-level Unity Software Developer to work with a team of Instructional Designers and 3D Media Developers in creating training content under the Navy Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program. You'll review detailed scenario scripts and build out complex PC Simulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Review Government Furnished Information
  • Review scenario scripts created by the Instructional Designers (ID)
  • Support design meetings with subject matter experts, IDs, and 3D Animators.
  • Create Unity PC Simulations for complex systems.
  • Work in a fast, dynamic environment.

Qualifications :

  • Expertise with Unity Pro.
  • Experience with Autodesk 3D Max, 3D asset pipeline.
  • Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.
  • Knowledge of C#, Object Oriented programming.
  • Experience with Visual Studio.
  • Experience with API development.
  • Experience with memory allocation and space optimization (Unity Profiler).
  • Experience with Universal Render Pipeline (URP).
  • Knowledge of 3D assets pipeline.
  • Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.
  • Experience in the Quality Assurance pipeline for game development or simulation training
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Desired :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
