Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Flightline Mechanic to join our Manufacturing department based in Mobile, AL
The Flightline Mechanic is responsible for performing Functional Test Procedure, Pre & Post Flight inspection to prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This would include troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. The Flightline Mechanic would proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. The Mechanic must have the ability to interpret technical manuals, drawing and engineering data to support tasks.

find specific co-workers and in-house experts.

Equipment Operation : Able to operate standard office equipment, ground support equipment, and man lifts
Carrying : Able to carry up to 40 lbs. / 18kg
Lifting : Able to lift up to 40lbs. / 18kg on occasion
Pushing / Pulling : able to push / pull up to 500lbs on wheels
Sitting : able to sit for extended periods of time
Squatting / Kneeling : able to occasionally able to squat / kneel
Standing : able to stand for long periods of time
Travel : able to travel domestically and / or internationally for training purposes and offsite aircraft recovery
Walking : able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces
Climate : able to work in various weather conditions
