Responsibilities and Duties
Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteriesConduct redo coronary revascularization with or without heart valve surgeryManage tube thoracostomy and pericardial window proceduresPerform general thoracic surgeries including thoracotomy lung biopsy, lung resections and pneumonectomy, thoracotomy decortication, chest wall resection and reconstruction, mediastinal surgery, and mediastinotomy with biopsyComplete heart valve repair and replacement surgeries, including CoreValve system and mitral valve repairAdditional Information
Must hold an active Indiana medical licenseBoard certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery requiredDrug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification requiredExperience with adult patient populations necessaryBenefits
