Work Schedule : Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

Position Overview :
Enjoy a predictable schedule with self-preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance.Work in a collaborative environment that fosters respect among all surgical staff.Benefit from continuous investments in advanced equipment to enhance patient safety and workflow.Be heard in discussions regarding patient care improvements through rounding with unit leaders.On-call duties may be required during select non-business hours.Key Responsibilities :
Assess and evaluate patients before surgery.Educate patients and their families about the procedure and peri-operative care.Manage patient preparation, including IV therapy and surgical site verification.Participate in surgical site verification processes adhering to hospital protocols.Recognize and respond effectively to patient emergencies.Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while pursuing continuous improvement.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of providers and surgical staff.Utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and technical skills to provide safe nursing care.Monitor patient conditions during your shift and document all changes and care provided.Qualifications :
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.Valid RN License.Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.As part of the Medical City network, our facility is recognized for excellence in patient care and advanced medical treatments.
