Diagnostic Medical Physicist Location : Michigan (Full-time, Permanent) Salary : $180,000–$300,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
About the Company : A medical physics group serving hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare systems across Upper Midwestern United States. With expertise across all diagnostic imaging modalities, the team is committed to advancing patient safety, supporting accreditation, and fostering professional growth through certification and continuing education. The healthcare organization are extremely supportive of its physicts and allow autonomous working with as much flexibility as possible.
Role Overview : Provide comprehensive diagnostic medical physics support across the Michigan area. Responsibilities include equipment evaluations (radiographic, fluoroscopic, mammography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and PACS), shielding design and testing, radiation scatter surveys, dose calculations, and ACR accreditation support. Travel will be required, with flexibility to work independently while collaborating closely with a regional team of physicists.
Key Requirements :
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics or related field
- ABR-certified or board eligible (desired)
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong technical expertise across diagnostic and nuclear medicine systems
