Position Responsibilities :

• Ensures compliance with JCAHO, HRS, OSHA, and other agency regulations as they relate to Environmental Services.
• Ensures direction in the application of Environmental and Infection control standards and practices, CQI standards, and organizational goals and objectives.
• Collaborates with the Director in the management of the overall operation of the department by effectively directing, planning and problem solving as evident by Press Ganey scores.
• Collaborates daily with all assigned floor Nurse Managers or supervisors in charge of Ancillary Area to ensure the cleanliness and quality of work by Environmental Services.
• Assists the Director in rational explanations for decisions and actions to staff, medical staff, hospital administration and patients.

Qualifications

High School plus college course in Business Administration of Heal Care Management.
