Job Description

MRI Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location : Rochester, Minnesota

Pay Rate : $77 / hour

Guaranteed Hours : 40 / week

Contract Length : 52 weeks

Shift Details

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
  • No on-call, weekends, or holiday hours
  • Exact shift hours provided at time of offer
  • Shifts will be either :
  • Day shift (varied day hours) OR
  • Evening shift (2 : 00 PM – 10 : 30 PM)
  • Contracts are for one shift only — no rotation
  • Do NOT submit duplicate candidates to Req #36541106

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images that meet Mayo Clinic Radiology Department standards. This role requires proficiency with advanced imaging equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality MRI images following departmental standards
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment with technical competence
  • Follow all safety and patient-care guidelines
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Maintain flexibility in staffing various locations and shift lengths
  • Work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and efficiency skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

    • Education

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program

    • Certifications (Required)

  • ARRT – Magnetic Resonance (MR)
  • BLS (AHA)
