ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

The Audio Technician is responsible for the set-up, testing, and breakdown of professional audio and sound equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• Knowledge of audio & video integration.
• Experience with professional audio, RF, sound, and / or video equipment
• Excellent organization skills
• Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at expected quality and quantity levels.
• Ability to perform general assembly techniques.
• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Exceptional customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with other people and a passion for the industry
• Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions
• Availability to work weekends as necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

1. Inspect, maintain, and perform quality control of all audio & communication equipment.

2. Maintain accurate inventory, suggest repairs, storage, or replacement of equipment.

3. Maintain all equipment and tracking of equipment locating using scanning software.

4. Check in rental returns, check for damage and proper operation, clean and return to storage.

5. Attend client meetings as deemed necessary by sales.

6. Assist the office with administrative duties such as phone, warehouse, and software support.

7. Help to offer and provide solutions to different situations and customer needs with a customer first approach
