As a Fab Manufacturing Technician (MT) Apprentice at Micron Technology in Boise Idaho you will learn how to sustain and improve cycle time by facilitating product movement in our world-class Technology Development Fab.

Microns Apprenticeship Program offers an earn and learn model where you will receive outstanding on-the-job training enabling you to directly apply the training from your course work to your job. At the end of the apprenticeship participants will earn a US Department of Labor and industry recognized credential.

Responsibilities :

• Work in partnership with production and engineering team members by assisting in monitoring tool performance scheduling product acting as the first responder on area inefficiencies (i.e. lots not tracking / staging data not downloading tool lockups and lot processed verification).
• Adhere to all apprenticeship guidelines protocols and additional instructions from program manager and partners
• Complete all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policies
• Partner with other area MTs and engineering teams to complete daily priorities and assist with monitoring the status of key bottlenecks and priority workstations throughout shift to ensure efficiency
• Identify area issues (line down no redundancy extended tool down no support etc.) that are impacting overall fab performance to management and key partners and assists with resolution
• Focus on improving Remote Operations Center (ROC) monitoring tools and contributes to continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts
