About the Role

The Company is in search of an AVP, Investment and Corporate Tax to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the analysis and structuring of complex investments to achieve optimal tax efficiency and risk management across both U.S. and international jurisdictions. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with legal, compliance, and senior tax leadership to support strategic planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and address emerging tax issues related to corporate and investment activities.

Key responsibilities for the AVP, Investment and Corporate Tax include conducting in-depth tax analysis of investment transactions, identifying and managing tax risks, and structuring investments to optimize tax outcomes. The role also requires support for legal and tax planning initiatives, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a JD with a minimum of 8 years' of corporate tax experience, a strong background in investment taxation (particularly in structured private equity transactions), and a proven track record in handling international tax issues such as Subpart F, PFIC, and foreign tax credits. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential for this position.
