Position Details : Title : HR Assistant

Position Type :   4 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Job Location : Stamford, CT

Shift : 1st shift

Benefits : 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance

Compensation : $27 / HR

Responsibilities

  • Review and process Form I-9s, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify identity and employment authorization documents for authenticity and relevance.
  • Manage E-Verify submissions, resolve discrepancies, and handle tentative non-confirmations promptly (if applicable).
  • Support additional HR projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or Shared Services Operations, with expertise in Form I-9 compliance.
  • Proficient in HR software systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with proven ability to manage large volumes of documentation accurately.
  • Analytical skills to identify errors, ensure policy compliance, and meet legal requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
