Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical BIM / CAD Operator in Sterling Heights, Michigan .

Electrical BIM / CAD Operator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical BIM / CAD Operator in Sterling Heights, Michigan is between $75,000 and $115,000.

Electrical BIM / CAD Operator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare designs and layouts to include electrical layouts, site plans, floor plans, equipment plans, interior and exterior elevations and related sections and details utilizing a computer with industry-specific software (AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks).
  • Complete diagrams, schedules, design sketches, presentation drawings, working drawings and other computer-generated or hand-drafted documents from prepared drawings for client use.
  • Organize, layout and coordinate drafted documents.
  • Possess a working knowledge of electrical symbols and graphic standards.
  • Attend and participate in design presentations for special projects, conduct field surveys and document existing conditions required to complete project documents.
  • Provide administrative and day-to-day operational support including coordination / completion of job files.

    • Electrical BIM / CAD Operator Qualifications

  • 3+ BIM Experience required.
  • Use of Revit, Navisworks, MS Office, Bluebeam, Robotic Total Station Software to model the projects electrical system components.
  • Electrical drafting experience within commercial / industrial construction projects
