Architect

Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is seeking an Architect to join its dynamic Architecture Team at our Coral Gables office. The candidate will be working on various project types and will be responsible for preparing drawings for permitting and bidding. This is a full-time onsite position.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform architectural assignments under general supervision
  • Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
  • Create and modify architectural project designs and drawings; design review and project scheduling
  • Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions
  • Organize and maintain project record information and drawings
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to apply architectural principles to buildings / structures and their components or assemblies.
  • Ability to handle designing and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required
  • Self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to write reports and specifications required

    • Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience in architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture; master's degree a plus
  • Florida Architectural License preferred, or NCARB certification
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Must enjoy collaborating with a design team
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and other design applications
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
