Position Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Owner to lead Agile teams in delivering innovative, customer-driven solutions within Asset Mgmt / Brokerage industry. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery, and user experience. You’ll champion the product vision, collaborate across functions, and ensure the team remains focused on delivering high-value outcomes.
This is a Full Time Employment Opportunity based on client site in Westlake, TX, or Smithfield, RI.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Product Strategy & Vision : Define and communicate product goals in alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
- Backlog Ownership : Create and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog with detailed user stories, business value, and acceptance criteria.
- Agile Delivery Leadership : Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and ensure the team delivers incremental value each iteration.
- Stakeholder Alignment : Collaborate with engineering, UX / UI, QA, and business partners to ensure transparency, clear priorities, and shared ownership.
- Customer-Centric Insight : Use analytics, feedback, and market research to guide product decisions and refine the product roadmap.
- Quality Advocacy : Define success metrics and partner with QA and development teams to maintain high delivery standards.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to optimize development processes, product features, and team performance.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
10 years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent in an Agile environmentProven capital markets experienceProven success in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative settingStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.) and product lifecycleExceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesTechnical literacy—comfortable engaging with engineering teams and understanding trade-offsExperience using Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally)Domain expertise in Asset Management / Brokerage requiredEducation : University bachelor's degree in computer science or related Field
