job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe Sensor Validation Engineer will have experience validating high bandwidth sensors using rigorous data collection and analysis methods. This employee will work closely with the algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests for evaluating the radar sensors performance and reliability. They will be expected to perform root cause data analysis and generate cohesive test reports and documentation. Data collection is done outside on vehicles. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or physics Experience in data analysis, including statistics Experience using MATLAB, Python or similar for data analysis Experience presenting complicated topics to high level stakeholders Validate driver’s license Comfortable manipulating large multi-dimensional data sets Understanding of point clouds and point cloud structure Understanding of the physical process in which radar operates (nice to have) Hands on experience with radar, lidar, camera or IMU (nice to have) High-level technical writing skills. Automotive experience highly desired. Must have a valid driver’s license. Powered by JazzHR
