Position Summary

Radiant Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a strategic, results-driven Manager of Operational Process to lead the development, optimization, and integration of operational workflows across the organization. This position plays a critical leadership role in driving efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement across business operations. This role is responsible for analyzing, mapping, and enhancing operational processes across departments, ensuring optimal integration of systems and workflows, and championing a culture of innovation and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Process Analysis & Mapping :
  • Lead the design, standardization, and implementation of operational processes across stations

  • Set the vision for process excellence and align it with organizational objectives and metrics.
  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability through streamlined processes.
  • Process Improvement :
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline and standardize processes across the organization, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.

  • Oversee the design and rollout of best practices, process controls, and performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor process performance and outcomes.
  • Drive initiatives that align with business goals and foster operational excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation :
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying areas for operational optimization and recommending innovative solutions.

  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to suggest improvements to processes and systems.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Data & Analytics for Operational Improvement
  • Leverage data and performance analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within operational processes.

  • Work alongside analyst to create dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into process performance and KPIs.
  • Promote a data-informed culture by enabling teams to use metrics and analysis in their day-to-day operations.
  • System & Process Integration :
  • Work closely with IT teams and system specialists to ensure operational processes are effectively integrated with business systems and technologies.

  • Provide insights into system functionality and how it can support and improve operational workflows.
  • Support the implementation of system enhancements that align with process improvements, ensuring that technology is leveraged to its fullest potential.
  • Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration :
  • Translate operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for system developers and other relevant teams.

  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings with internal stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for process improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment between operational objectives and system capabilities.
  • Training & Support :
  • Develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and provide support to end-users on new or modified processes.

  • Offer guidance and troubleshooting for operational issues related to processes and systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for operational processes, providing support to both operational teams and leadership.
  • Documentation & Reporting :
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, changes, and improvements.

  • Track and report progress on process improvement initiatives to leadership, highlighting success stories and areas requiring further focus.
  • Create reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and improvements to key stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

    Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in operational process analysis, process improvement, or business systems integration.
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, Visio, flowcharts).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and propose actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) and how they integrate with operational processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, present findings, and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Project management experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Preferred

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
  • Experience with process automation tools or operating systems (i.e., SAP, etc).
  • Knowledge of change management principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and performance measurement tools (i.e., PowerBI, Excel, etc)
  • Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, emails and instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively to both internal and external contacts.
  • Work Schedule & Environment

  • Full time role, minimum 8 hours / day with flexibility to complete responsibilities.
  • Hybrid schedule : minimum 3 days per week in corporate office.
  • Climate-controlled office with moderate noise level.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Regular physical demands : Walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

  • Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to an individual's education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
  • Other compensation includes, but is not limited to, bonuses, commissions, or stock options.
