Role : Test Manager

Location : Florham Park, NJ (Onsite)

Interview : Phone / Skype

Job Type : Contract

We’re looking for a seasoned Test Manager with deep expertise in #SystemTesting, #Automation, and #PowerSystems to lead cross-functional testing efforts within R&D. This role will define and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensuring quality and performance throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities

Develop test strategies covering #SystemLevel, #Integration, and #ValidationTesting
Review specs and use cases to align test coverage with product goals
Execute #Regression, #Functional, and #Performance tests
Lead go / no-go release decisions based on quality benchmarks
Maintain test automation frameworks and manage traceability
Support issue reproduction and root cause analysis with dev teams
Mentor test engineers, promote best practices and innovation

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master’s in #ElectricalEngineering or #ComputerScience

10+ years leading #Software and #Hardware testing teams

Strong hands-on experience with #Modbus, #CAN, and #IEC61850 protocols

Proven knowledge in #ComplianceTesting, traceability, and defect tracking tools

Expertise in test planning, estimation, and test infrastructure development

Excellent leadership, analytical, and cross-team collaboration skills

Experience in #EmbeddedSystems or #IndustrialAutomation domains
