About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Alembic, you’ll be one of the dedicated QA professionals on our team. You’ll collaborate across engineering, data science, and product to establish and scale our quality processes. From automated test suites to real-world user validation, your work ensures that what we ship is accurate, reliable, and built to last.

Key Responsibilities

Define, implement, and scale testing strategies across Alembic’s product and data pipelines

Write and maintain automated test cases (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end)

Develop and own tools for test automation, continuous testing, and validation at scale

Collaborate closely with engineers and data scientists to detect, reproduce, and debug complex issues across systems

Champion quality across the organization—build a culture of proactive validation and fast feedback loops

Participate in product planning and design reviews to ensure quality from the start

Contribute to performance testing, security testing, and compliance readiness efforts

Must-Have Qualifications

3–5+ years experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing

Strong proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Pytest)

Experience testing modern web applications, APIs (REST, GraphQL), and / or data platforms

Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and testing integrations (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Comfort working in fast-paced, startup environments with ambiguity and evolving systems

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with data validation techniques in ML or analytics platforms

Exposure to infrastructure-as-code environments (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)

Experience working with cloud services (AWS preferred)

Interest in marketing analytics, causal inference, or AI / ML validation
