Architectural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Architectural Design Engineer to provide critical design and analysis for complex nuclear and industrial facilities. This role demands extensive code knowledge, facility layout expertise, and a commitment to life safety and structural integrity in highly regulated environments. You must demonstrate substantial, recent experience in the following areas : Industrial Facility Layout : Proven track record in the design and layout of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes. Commercial Practice : Extensive experience operating within a commercial engineering practiceenvironment. Code Compliance Mastery : Deep, working familiarity with critical National Codes and Standards, including : IBC, AISC (ASD and LRFD), ACI, AWS NFPA, OSHA, CFR, and ABA Life Safety Expertise : Working knowledge and application of NFPA Life Safety Code 101. Construction Specification Institute (CSI) : Knowledge in the preparation of CSI-formatted specifications. Passive Fire Protection Design Skills : Direct skills in designing Fire Barriers and Penetration Seals. CADD Proficiency : Working knowledge of MicroStation CADD. (Strong AutoCAD experience is acceptable, but immediate willingness to learn MicroStation is required.) Security Architecture : Experience in Facility security architectural design. Financial Skills : Familiarity with cost estimating and quantity takeoffs. Professional Registration : Current Architectural Registration. Schedule : Monday - Thursday Hours : 6 : 45 AM - 5 : 15 PM EST
