Pizza Maker and Server (FOH and BOH)

We are a high-volume, grab & go, locally owned pizza operation in Portland. At Sparky's Pizza, we strive to create a work environment where we all support each other and work together as a team. With a supportive team of strong individuals, defined expectations and processes, we have created a job where we all work quickly and efficiently.

We are a to-go operation, with limited outdoor seating only.

Pay is $18 / hr (plus approx. $5-$10 / hr in tips).

We are currently hiring at both Portland locations (2434 NE MLK & 7530 NE MLK) for a part-time position, will need availability to work at both stores. Weekend availability required.

In our operation everyone does everything. We do not have a separation between FOH and BOH.

The daily duties will include :

Answer phones and take orders

Greet, serve and ring up customers

Quickly toss, sauce, top, bake and box pizza

Clean and restock lobby and kitchen areas

There is room for growth within Sparky's current structure, and as the business expands there may be more. We typically promote from within and encourage employees to be proactive about seeking leadership positions.

Currently, our staff consists of staff members, shift leads, advanced shift leads, store managers and an administrative manager.

With experience, commitment and a strong work ethic many of our staff members move into a shift lead position ($20 / hr).
