POSITION SUMMARY

Electrical Helper / Apprentice : Apprentice that is capable of learning and working in a heavy industrial environment. Working on Various 120 / 208V systems and Various 480V systems. Work is slated for day shift with overtime available. Apprentices will work directly with Electrical supervisor and other Journeyman Electricians on staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Work with 480 Volt and 120 / 208 Volt systems
• Basic Troubleshooting on machines and facilities related electrical issues.
• Install conduit and enclosures to code standards while working under Journeyman Electricians
• Able to fly solo on small projects
• Lighting maintenance, General electrical maintenance, Electrical PM’s
• Interpreting Blueprints and able to install electrical based on demand.
• Ability to identify parts and other needed materials
• Ability to work at heights from man lifts and ladders.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment
• Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
• Measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Good housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment
