Established, highly-regarded, growing Personal Injury Law firm seeks full-time Medical Record Retrieval Specialist. Position consists of working with medical providers to obtain medical billing and records for clients in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities :
Will work directly with providers' offices to retrieve medical and billing records under affidavit in a timely and efficient mannerAccurately organize and maintain client medical records in a secure and confidential mannerRetrieve and compile medical information for healthcare professionals and administrative staff as neededEnsure compliance with relevant HIPAA laws and regulations governing the confidentiality and release of medical recordsInput and update patient information in electronic health record systems such as Chartswap, Healthmark, CIOX, Verisma, MRO, etcCollaborate with medical staff to verify and correct client data, ensuring accuracy and completenessRespond to requests for medical bills and records with affidavits from case managersManage the filing, scanning, sorting, and uploading of documents into the electronic database, FilevineManage payment processing for medical bills and record requests, including checks and credit card transactions. Maintain detailed records of financial transactions related to medical record requests. Utilize electronic systems to track and document payment transactions accuratelyAssist in the creation and maintenance of filing systems and formatting for efficient record retrievalSupport administrative tasks, including following up on records and calling medical providers, as well as answering inquiries related to medical bills and recordsQualifications :
