This role is ideal for a forward-thinking biomedical engineering professional who thrives at the intersection of technology patient safety and operational excellence .

As Director you will lead enterprise-level initiatives that drive innovation in medical device management compliance and lifecycle performance ensuring patients and clinicians alike benefit from a safe connected and efficient technology ecosystem.

About the Role :

The Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) provides strategic and operational leadership for hospital-based and network-wide biomedical engineering programs. Youll oversee HTM operations vendor partnerships device security and compliance initiatives while fostering collaboration across clinical IT and operations teams.

Your leadership will ensure technology assets perform flawlessly in support of patient care aligning quality safety and fiscal responsibility.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design implementation and continuous improvement of the hospitals HTM program .

Oversee medical device lifecycle management vendor relations and service delivery metrics.

Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (Joint Commission CMS and state regulations).

Manage capital equipment planning risk analysis and technology integration strategies.

Develop and track KPI-driven performance goals for equipment uptime cost control and safety.

Build and mentor a high-performing HTM team committed to operational excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

Associates degree or technical certification in Biomedical Engineering Electronics or related discipline ( Bachelors degree preferred ).

710 years of progressive experience in healthcare technology management or biomedical engineering including team leadership.

Strong understanding of medical device networking cybersecurity and compliance frameworks .

Demonstrated success managing multi-facility programs budgets and vendor performance.

Excellent communication analytical and leadership skills with a passion for safe reliable patient care.
