Proficiency in prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens. Ability to collaborate effectively with specialists to diagnose and treat complex health conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering compassionate care. M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution. Successful completion of residency in pediatrics. Board certification in pediatrics. Current New York Medical Practitioner License, CDS, and DEA licenses.
Responsibilities :
- Provide pediatric medical care within the standard of care, incorporating holistic approaches into treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests as necessary, and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
- Analyze medical records, test results, and examinations to diagnose patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and lifestyle adjustments to promote patient recovery and prevent future health issues.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and objectives, always maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring compliance with federal and state privacy laws.
