Office Hours : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm
Salary Range : $65,000-$74,000
Job Summary :
The Operations Manager serves as a vital link between warehousing operations and brokerage / logistics teams. This role ensures seamless coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, manages third-party warehouse relationships, and supports the day-to-day flow of goods to meet client expectations and service level agreements. The Operations Manager will also assemble and manage a team of Operations Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the liaison between brokerage, transportation providers, and warehouse operations.
- Schedule and track inbound and outbound freight appointments with 3PL and warehouse partners.
- Coordinate and monitor transloads, cross-docking, and special handling requests.
- Manage warehouse documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and inventory logs.
- Communicate shipment statuses, delays, or changes to internal teams and customers.
- Ensure all warehouses are meeting service expectations and compliance standards and continue relationship development.
- Assist with issue resolution related to freight, accessorials, and warehouse errors.
- Maintain accurate records in systems and ensure real-time updates.
- Support pricing and quoting efforts for warehouse services when needed.
- Work directly with the Director of Operations to scale the Arizona based Operations department
- Build and manage a team of Operations Coordinators
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field a plus2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight brokerage preferred.Knowledge of warehouse processes, freight terminology, and shipping documentation.Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Management experience is a plus, but not required.
