CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) Location : 1600 South 48th Street, Lincoln, NE 68506, United States Radius : 60 miles (must submit DL for radius verification) Hiring Process : Profile reviewed → If qualified, sent directly to manager for interview Orientation : Clinicians must be in-state during orientation week (even if first-day modules are remote) UNIT INFORMATION Unit : CVOR – Cardiovascular Operating Room # of Suites : 16 Average Cases / Day : ~30 Scrubbing : Required? → Preferred (RN) Support Staff : RNCC Lead CVOR Tech One OR tech per room EMR : Epic Dress Code : Blue scrubs Floating : General OR if no CVOR cases Unit-Specific Orientation : Provided SHIFT & SCHEDULING Scheduling Type : Pod scheduling & rotation Self-scheduling : Not indicated Weeknight Call : Yes — typically 1 weekday per week Weekend Call : Yes — typically 1 weekend per month Holiday Call : Required Call Response Time : 30 minutes REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS BLS MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE Strong CVOR circulating experience Scrubbing CVOR experience strongly preferred Experience with high-acuity cardiovascular surgical procedures Must be able to function independently and manage complex cardiac cases COMMON CVOR CASES CABG TAVR EVAR / TEVAR Lobectomy Pericardial Window Additional high-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic procedures TRAVELER REQUIREMENTS Must live 60+ miles from facility (DL required for proof) Must be able to meet 30-minute call response time Must be in-state for orientation week Compliance and onboarding items must be completed prior to start
