HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri.

Weekend Hours : As required by facility

Call Requirements : None

Required Licensure : Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)

Required Certifications : BLS from AHA only, Must have 4 trauma credits OR must have them completed within the first two weeks from start, NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start)

Preferred Certifications : ACLS from AHA only

Years of Experience : 1 year tele

Float Requirements : will float on a rotational basis

Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 32

Patient Ratios : varies. Days 1 : 5-1 : 6, nights 1 : 6-1 : 8 (estimates, not guarantees)

Equipment : Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment

EMR : EPIC

Hiring Profile :

Must Have Skills / Experience : 1 year Tele, inpatient only; Experience and competence in drug titration.

Preferred Skillset / Experience : Trauma, inpatient only

Type of Patients on Unit : Cardiac / Med Surg
