H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our growing team in our Milwaukee WI office. We currently have numerous design and inspection assignments for transportation infrastructure related projects within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract plans special provisions and engineers estimates
• Perform structural design calculations (beam design reinforced concrete and steel structures design and analysis) sketches computer modeling and similar technical work as required
• Perform load ratings on bridges and other structures
• Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the design team
• Assist with field inspections and condition assessments of bridges and other structures
• Research design options and codes and discuss with the project manager
