Get Ready to Transform : Your Role in Action :

  • Working with the Speech-Language Pathologists to :

Conduct assessments

  • Work individually with students on speech and language goals
  • Run social groups in classrooms
  • Manage students' AAC systems
  • Train direct service staff
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to staff members
  • Develop formal and informal speech and language programs
  • Collaborate on IEP goals and evaluate and report on student progress
  • Conduct applied research
  • Your Skills and Talents : A Winning Combination!

  • Massachusetts SLPA licensure required
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis strongly preferred
  • Experience working with children and / or adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Conducting assessments.
  • Writing and training staff on speech and language programs to be run by classroom staff
  • Reliable data taken on programs that allows for progress to be easily reviewed
