Position : Project Management Assistant / Contract Admin – Contract Close-Outs

Pay : $27 / hr (negotiable based on experience)

Location : Columbus, OH (On-site five days a week to start; eligible for one to two remote days after three months based on performance)

Duration : 12 months, with potential for extension

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Overview : This role supports project managers in the utilities sector by handling administrative tasks related to contract close-outs. The focus is on finalizing payments, updating records, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant. The work is structured and process-driven, ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities :

  • Finalize contract payments and close-out documentation
  • Follow up with vendors and project managers to resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure all project records are accurate and complete before closing
  • Use provided job aides and checklists to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a project support or administrative role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and document control processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows
  • Effective communication and time management skills
